Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Western Region, the Senior Vice President, Commercial (SVP) will be responsible for leading the British Columbia business unit which comprises nearly 5 million square feet of primarily office and industrial institutional assets. As business unit lead, the incumbent will ensure effective client service delivery across a team successfully executing asset management, development, property management, leasing and business development. Leveraging a vast industry network, business unit growth will be a key focus, through the identification, sourcing and pursuit of new investment, advisory and development opportunities.
The successful candidate will have extensive leadership experience in commercial real estate and a successful track record of driving growth within a business environment. The SVP is well-connected and respected and will draw on extensive relationships across the Metro Vancouver and BC region. A postsecondary education in real estate, commerce, economics or finance with a CFA or MBA is desirable. A diverse background across leasing, asset management, business development, property management, development and investment in office and industrial real estate is preferred.
