Taylor Ryan have partnered with OpenForm Properties to find a Senior Development Manager to lead the development of their new residential projects. With an established and well capitalized business behind them, OpenForm is made up of a small entrepreneurial team who are looking to increase their presence in the Vancouver residential market.

The Senior Development Manager will take ownership of the project life cycle and manage all aspects of the teams’ residential developments. This will include a range of projects from townhome developments through to large tower sites across the lower mainland. Working closely with the company’s executive team and external consultants, the Senior Development Manager will have full oversight over each part of the development process and will work with a high degree of autonomy. There will be an expectation that the successful candidate can execute with a high degree of self direction.

To be suitable for this role you will ideally have 7+ years of industry experience with at least 5 years in a development management role. You will have a strong understanding of the buildability of projects and be capable of suggesting and managing changes throughout the development lifecycle. Ideally you will have a background in architecture, engineering or planning that will give you a strong technical understanding of the design and constructability of buildings.  This role will form part of a small team so will suit someone capable of operating at a senior level and will offer a lot of freedom and opportunity to be creative.
