One of Vancouver’s most innovative private real estate companies with an impressive portfolio including heritage buildings and new developments is currently looking for a Leasing Coordinator to join the team.
Reporting to the Director of Leasing, responsibilities will include: Preparation of leasing reports; Tracking leases, lease documentation and condition dates; Preparing marketing and leasing packages; Maintaining accurate tenant and leasing files; Oversee and coordinate the tenant improvement process on behalf of the landlord; Prepare financial analysis of prospective deals; proposals, offers to lease and other documents relating to incoming or existing tenancies; Prepare quarterly reports, annual plans, annual budgets and other reporting as required; Update leasing information on corporate website and communicate with the brokerage community.
The Leasing Coordinator is by means stuck behind a desk and in this role you will also: Help out by conducting tours of vacant commercial space for prospective tenants; Meet with tenants on a regular basis to promote Landlord/tenant relations; as well as additional tasks (more information will be provided in the full JD).
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of commercial real estate experience with a particular emphasis on the leasing process and lease documentation. A relevant University degree is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and prioritization skills are required as well as strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and interpret financial and market research data. A valid driver’s license is also required.
