Cottonwood Mall is a prominent 259,560 sf shopping centre situated on an expansive 21.9-acre site in Chilliwack’s growing retail district, strategically located on the Trans Canada Highway, a one hour drive east of Vancouver, BC. Cottonwood Mall is one of the largest retail facilities in the Eastern Fraser Valley and is anchored by a premier mix of national tenants. Cottonwood Mall was recently acquired in a partnership by PCI Developments with Warrington PCI Management taking over management and leasing.

WPM is currently looking to hire a General Manager for Cottonwood Mall. Reporting to the Senior Vice President and working alongside a dedicated team, the General Manager will assume the overall operational responsibility for the site. Specific duties will include: Prepare and execute budgets and reports; Negotiate and secure service agreements and contracts with third-party suppliers; Work closely with construction teams to mitigate tenant impact during redevelopment projects; Maintain excellent tenant relationships and handle any inquiries or concerns; Maintain positive working relationships with on-site third-party staff; Improve upon, implement and monitor company policies and procedures; Oversee and approve marketing and specialty leasing initiatives; Maintain strong relationships with the Client and provide reports and updates as required.
The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of progressive work experience in commercial property management with at least 5 years of retail experience. Demonstrated success managing a property during a redevelopment will be an asset. Strong leadership, interpersonal and customer relations skills are a must. Completion of a relevant University Degree and/or an industry qualification for e.g. RPA and CSM is preferred. You should also be a in a position to obtain a rental management license.
