Reporting to the President of Brokerage Services, the Executive Managing Director (EMD) has full P&L ownership for the Vancouver Office and is responsible for leading a team of Managing Directors and real estate professionals in growing market share, revenue, and profitability for sustainable long-term success. The EMD will lead the Vancouver Office in maintaining and growing their position as the best commercial real estate company in the market as measured by revenue and market share.
Key areas of responsibility include market strategy development & execution; business development and client relationship management; coaching, mentorship and performance management of top performers; acquiring talent; leadership and creation of forward-thinking workplace culture. As the EMD for the Vancouver Office, you will excel at internal and external strategic level conversations inside client C suites. You will also play a key role in creating synergy across lines of business (REMS, Advisory, Project Services etc.).
The successful candidate will have extensive leadership experience in a service orientated business. Previous experience at the SVP/EVP/MD/Managing Partner level is a must. Commercial real estate experience is preferred. A track record of driving sustainable growth within a business environment is required. The EMD will be an innovator, unafraid to implement new ideas and strategies.
