HPP acquired the Bentall Centre earlier this year and have exciting plans to revitalize the 1.45-million-square-foot complex.  An opportunity is currently available for a Director, Operations to lead and oversee all aspects of the property management team.  Reporting to the Regional SVP and working closely with the leasing and construction teams, the Director, Operations will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing customized asset strategies, reporting the financial performance of the portfolio, ensuring quality customer service and supporting the ongoing training and development of staff.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry with a strong background in property operations of Class ‘A’ office buildings.  Direct supervisory experience of a team and the ability to mentor and train team members.  Candidates should have a polished, professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills to write memos, letters and reports, and interact effectively with prospects, tenants, peers, vendors, staff, and management.  A proven ability to adapt to change and perform in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment is a must.  Proficiency with MRI (accounting system) is preferable and candidates should have a strong ability to manage operating and capital budgets.
