Taylor Ryan Executive Search Partners have exclusively partnered with Pacific Capital Real Estate Group to find an Assistant Development Manager to become a part of the development team in their Vancouver office. In this role you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge in a flexible and supportive environment working with a small, tight knit team. You will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks as they relate to ongoing and future development projects.
In this role you will support the Development Manager and VP Development with various project tasks including performing analysis and evaluation of new acquisition opportunities, including compiling due diligence materials and assumptions. You will lead project execution and coordination of consultant and design meetings as required and will lead the preparation and implementation of project scopes and schedules, consultant proposal and contract documents. The role will also include leading the preparation of permit packages for submission to municipalities and liaise with city staff as required.
As the Assistant Development Manager, you will also research Zoning Bylaws, Municipal Policies and Planning documents to inform project development and acquisition decisions. You will perform market research and competitive analysis that will inform development design and sales decisions. As part of the project completion, you will support the Homeowner Care process and complete the required legal documentation.
To be a fit for this team you will hold a relevant University degree preferably in business or engineering and have exceptional written and oral communication skills. You will have a strong analytical skillset, and
be able to research and understand the zoning regulations of the municipalities. You will be able to handle a heavy workload through multitasking and prioritizing tasks. You will have a strong work ethic and attention to detail, with ideally some skills in AutoCAD or InDesign.
