Hungerford Properties are currently looking to hire an Asset Manager to join the team based in Vancouver.  Reporting to the Vice President of Asset Management, the Asset Manager will collaborate closely with all other departments and will be active with the following key duties:

 

Business Plan Monitoring and the evaluation of asset strategies to ensure alignment with business plans.  Assist the Investment team in execution of acquisitions and dispositions.  Work with Financing and Accounting departments to conduct capital calls and distribution forecasting. Perform internal and external reporting related to asset performance, valuations, capital deployment, risk and compliance.  Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual investor reports.  The Asset Manager will have leadership responsibilities involving the development and coaching of a team of Analysts.

 

The ideal candidate will have 5 years’ experience in an asset management role and will possess strong Excel and financial modelling abilities. A Degree or professional designation in business (i.e., real estate, finance, accounting) is required.  Argus proficiency is an asset.  We are looking for a detail-oriented, results focused individual who operates with a high level of professionalism and is aligned with the company’s core values.
