Due to continued growth in their White Rock office, a leading technology business is currently searching for an Accounting Assistant / Administrator to join the team. The company has enjoyed continued high-growth, year over year and is looking to add this important position to their team to support both their operations, and their Director of Finance. The position will form part of the team of six in the local office, with others located internationally.
On a day to day basis, the position will support the Director of Finance with accounting administration, including AP/AR, invoicing and reporting as the role progresses. Working closely with the Director, this role offers the opportunity to gain valuable practical accounting experience and may offer the opportunity to expand out into a full-cycle role. This role would be well-suited to those pursuing their CPA who are looking to gain industry experience.
In addition to the accounting responsibilities, this role will have a specialist responsibility in the office for managing the registration of vehicles in Washington and will require someone with a strong attention to detail and who can follow processes carefully and accurately.
To be suitable for this role, you will ideally have had some experience working in accounting or administrative positions and be willing to split your time between administrative and accounting responsibilities. You will be looking to gain invaluable experience in a technology company that rewards staff performance, but also offers the opportunity to work close to home. You will be working with a dynamic team environment who are preparing to move into a new office in the near future.
